Doris Gordon became involved with TIAS ARMS as a donor. She was so inspired during her trip to South Africa and the charities TIAS ARMS supports that she returned home and initiated her “DOLLS THAT LOOK LIKE ME” project. Over a hundred dolls of color were collected and delivered to the schools in South Africa. She is a retired Department of Defense official responsible for post contract award management covering Special Programs in 11 western states. She brings to TIAS ARMS skills in critical analysis, cost analysis, team building, negotiations, and budget formation and management. She has a lifetime of providing community service. She remains curious about people, life, and embraces opportunities to try new things/adventures.
