St. Joseph Preschool is an outreach project that exists to provide a quality preparation for primary school for low income children. The school caters to children 3 to 6 years of age from all races and creeds. Unfortunately, the preschool is located in the highest “at risk” provinces in South Africa. The school serves a wide variety of backgrounds including children from a 2 parent household, but this is not the norm. Many are street children, AIDS orphans, children living in alcohol and drug situations, children suffering from divorce, neglected, hungry, afraid, and insecure.

TIAS ARMS helps fund tuition for some of these children, as well as a food program before and after school since many are sent to school without breakfast or a lunch.
